Silk Screening

Using a wide variety of materials and inks, we are able to create multi-colored designs for that one-of-a-kind award or for that special project that requires attention to detail.

Overlay - Lexan® front panel overlays and polyester overlays are screen printed or digitally printed sub-surface to protect the image. A variety of premium pressure-sensitive adhesives are available depending on the surface of the mating part.

Etched Metal

Certain areas of metal are masked off with an acid resistant material which allows the unmasked area to be dissolved away with acid, resulting in the masked areas remaining in relief.

The depth of commercial nameplate etching varies from 0.0015 to 0.003 inches, depending on the height and stroke of letters and the type of metal or alloy.

Etched products are used when durability and long life are required.

Using apt chemical processes, we provide etched-metal products on stainless steel or brass.

Phototypeset

Using computerized technology, we are able to complete small or large phototypesetting projects with ease and with the quality you expect and deserve.

Metalphoto

One of the many benefits of Metalphoto is that the sign can be reproduced from drawings, sketches and photographs of finished artwork including text and illustration.

Metalphoto signs are finished with a black image on silver background and are made from a special hard anodized aluminum plate.

The image is embedded in the aluminum and can only be destroyed by destroying the metal itself.

The surface is impervious to salt spray, fungus, weathering, most corrosive materials and is graffiti proof as well as easy to clean.

K&R Graphix makes nameplates, front panels, overlays, warning labels, flow charts, equipment information tags, schematic diagrams to your specification or per print.

This type of plate is frequently required by military standards such as GG-P.455 B, and 15024D type H. Extra colors can be added to accent the appearance of your parts. Nameplates are extremely durable and reproduce photographically exact images. In small quantities, prices are very competitive.
